By creating an account or using Animo Studio (幕匠) at studio.shorstory.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and the service is currently offered on an invite-only basis.

Animo Studio adapts scripts into short-drama video episodes through an AI production pipeline. The service is under active development and may change, add, or remove features. Some capabilities may be gated or disabled during the beta.

• Provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Invite codes grant beta access, are for your own use, and may expire or have limited uses.

• Paid plans are billed in US dollars (USD) on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. Current plans and prices are shown on your account page.
• Each plan grants monthly credits used to run generation. As a current promotion, your first paid subscription grants an extra 50% bonus of that plan’s monthly credits.
• You can cancel anytime from “Manage Subscription”. On cancellation, your remaining credits stay available until the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate or refund the current period except where required by law.
• Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except as required by law. Prices and credit allocations may change with notice.

You keep ownership and usage rights to the scripts you provide and the films generated for you. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — to store, process, and deliver your content, including transmitting your script to the third-party AI generation provider and hosting and delivering the output through our content delivery network.

You represent that you hold all rights necessary for the material you upload. This copyright warranty is shown to you in the creation workbench before you produce. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and how you use the output.

• Do not upload content you lack the rights to, or that infringes others’ intellectual property.
• Do not create unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, or use the service to violate anyone’s rights.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service, or bypass rate limits and access controls.

Output is produced by third-party AI models and may be imperfect, unexpected, or not fit for a particular purpose. It is provided on an “as is” basis, and you are responsible for reviewing it before use.

Generated video carries C2PA content credentials indicating AI generation. You agree not to remove or misrepresent this provenance where doing so would be unlawful or deceptive.

The service depends on third parties including Stripe (payments), Volcengine Seedance (AI video generation), and Cloudflare (storage and delivery). Your use of features that rely on them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

During the beta, the service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise any specific uptime, and features may be interrupted, limited, or changed while we develop the product.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You may stop using the service at any time and can request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. On termination, the license you grant us ends except as needed to complete in-flight processing and meet legal obligations.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

The governing law and dispute-resolution venue for these terms are pending legal review and will be specified before general availability.
